EVERGREEN and Cosco are offering direct calls at Navegantes and Paranagua on their joint Far East-east coast South America service (ESA) from the first week of January.
The service will start accepting direct shipments for these two destinations with the sailing on November 24 from Shanghai. A week is added to the rotation to cater for the new port calls, reports Alphaliner
It said the ESA will turn in 11 weeks on the following port rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Santos, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Shanghai.
The service will deploy ten 3,400-TEU ships and a 4,250-TEU COSCO Fos will also join this month.
