MSC to Boost Rates to Western Mediterranean

 

 

Mediterranean Shipping Co. plans to increase rates as of July 1 on eastbound cargo from the U.S. to ports in the western Mediterranean.

 

The rate increase will apply to all shipments from the U.S. to Mediterranean ports in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Albania, Canary Islands and the south of France, including Fos, Montoir and Le Verdon.

 

MSC plans to implement a general rate increase of $250 per 20-foot-equivalent units and $350 per FEU.
