Hapag-Lloyd Increases Far East-Europe Rates

 

 

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates on its Far East westbound trade, effective March 15.

The rate hike will be $750 per 20-foot container, and it will apply to all shipments from East Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean.

Separately, the German ocean carrier announced it is revising service fees in Canada, effective Feb. 1.
