Malaysia's MASKargo (the air cargo arm of Malaysia Airlines, MAS) is to commence weekly A330 freighter services to Karagandy International Airport in Kazakhstan from October 30 and may increase services to two or three times a week when it receives a second A330 freighter.
According to Shahari Sulaiman, managing director of MASKargo, the airline has seen inquiries from forwarders for shipments out of the far east and out of Europe in to Kazakhstan.
The initial route will be Shanghai-Karagandy-Amsterdam.
