Vietnam Airlines to order eight 787-9 Dreamliners
Vietnam Airlines said it would sign a deal for eight 787-9 Dreamliners from Boeing Co, and is in talks to buy a further eight of the aircraft.
President and CEO Pham Ngoc Minh said the national flag carrier would take delivery of the first aircraft in 2015.
He said the airline will also lease three further 787-9 Dreamliners.
The deal replaces an earlier agreement with Boeing for the purchase of an older version of the aircraft, the 787-8 Dreamliner. Cargonews Asia |
