 Changi Airport's cargo volume falls 1.8pc to 150,500 tonnes in June
CHANGI Airport in June handled 150,500 tonnes of air freight, a decrease of 1.8 per cent compared to the same month in 2012 based on the latest figures from the operator of Singapore's Changi Airport Group.
In the first half of 2013, total cargo volume fell 2.3 per cent year on year to 877,700 tonnes.
Passenger traffic in June rose 6.1 per cent with 4.67 million passengers passing through the airport. This marks the highest number of passenger movements in one month at the airport so far this year. In terms of flight movements, a total of 28,300 aircraft landings and take-offs were recorded, up 6.1 per cent year on year.
