MOL starts direct Vietnam-Europe service

Mitsui O S K Lines's Precision made its first call at Tan Cang-Cai Mep International Terminal in Vietnam on January 15.

This marked the start of a direct service from Vietnam to North Europe introduced by The New World Alliance. The alliance created the new route by adding a Vietnam call to their JEX service.

The Cai Mep terminal, with 14m depth, is capable to handle up to around 10,000 TEU ships. It is also an eco-friendly container terminal equipped with full electric driven cranes both at the quay side and at the container yard.
