Cargolux back to Alaska

Luxembourg

's Cargolux Airlines has made a scheduled stopover in Alaska after a five-year absence.

The B747 freighter was en route to Chicago from Hong Kong.

"This flight represents one of two new weekly, scheduled refuelling stops in Alaska," Alaskan airport manager John Parrott said.

"We are pleased that Cargolux has returned to the Alaska market and hope that this is the beginning of an upswing in the economics of the air cargo business."
