 Moscow Domodedovo Airport freight throughput increases 2pc in May
FREIGHT throughput at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport's in May totalled 16,600 tonnes, an increase of 2.1 per cent compared to the same month last year, bringing to 76,200 tonnes the total freight tonnage for January-May 2013, a rise of 4.4 per cent compared to the same period of 2012.
Passenger traffic in May increased 13.6 per cent compared to May 2012 and amounted to 2.57 million travellers. The largest passenger traffic growth was in the international sector that grew 17.2 per cent to 1.6 million passengers compared to May 2012.
During the five-month period to the end of May, the airport handled 10.9 million passengers, 13.6 per cent more travellers than in the same period last year. Asian Shipper News |
