Air France Group cargo boosts capacity  

Air France-KLM Cargo and Martinair Cargo have confirmed an increase in capacity from the group’s two hubs (Paris – CDG in France and Amsterdam – Schiphol in the Netherlands) in its northern winter schedules, effective October 31, 2010.

 

The carriers will offer more capacity on passenger aircraft from CDG Paris to Africa, South America and the Middle East.

 

Additional frequencies to destinations include flights to Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Jeddah, Djibouti, Beirut, and Pointe-Noire. Bata and Port-Gentil become new destinations.


The carrier will maintain its CDG network to Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mexico, Chicago and specialised markets in Africa and in the Indian Ocean. Cairo will be an additional stop on the freighter network.


The airline's passenger aircraft from Amsterdam – Schiphol will increase to seven daily flights to Atlanta, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Mexico City. Panama City and Seoul will be offered six times a week. Furthermore Kigali (Rwanda) will be offered five times a week.


From SPL the carrier offers main deck capacity on freighters and Combi aircraft and new services to Shanghai via Moscow, using a B747 freighter have commenced.  The airline also plans to reinforce its position in the Japanese market by increasing Combi frequencies to Narita.
