Germany's Lufthansa Cargo says its March freight volumes were 17.8 per cent higher in March than a year ago. It says higher German exports and growth in the Americas helped the figures.
It transported 183,000 metric tons last month, taking traffic for the first quarter to 469,000 tons, up 19.9 per cent on the same period in 2010.
Capacity was up 19.2 per cent from March 2010, while load factor slipped 2.6 percentage points to 71.8 per cent. Aircargo Asia Pacific |
