APL Logistics has extended its footprint in the Middle East with two agency appointments in Iraq and Kuwait: Iraq Transcontinental Shipping Co and Kuwait Transcontinental Shipping Co.
The appointed agencies have offices in Basrah, Bagdad and Umm Qasr in Iraq and Ardiya in Kuwait.
APL Logistics' services offered include supply chain design and engineering, international logistics, warehousing and domestic distribution, project cargo solutions and IT solutions.
Joseph Lee, APL Logistics' managing director for the Middle East, said that the agency arrangement supplements APL's existing office network across the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and multiple other locations across the African continent.
